Hello! Welcome to my first post, I’ve decided to show you an SS16 inspired look by bringing together some cheaper high street brands, influenced by the major trends and designers this year. It’s still quite cold at the moment but I’m already anticipating the milder spring weather.

Skirt

Zara

The catwalk for spring 2016 has been predominately focused around pattern and the color orange and red. So only naturally I would incorporate both. To be honest I’m a heavy pattern user at all times of the year so the fact this has become particularly trendy is right up my street

Jacket

Dorothy Perkins

If you thought the designers were done with 70’s inspired suede you’d be wrong. Suede is back for spring again, both Rebecca Minkoff and Oliver Rouesteing styled their models down the catwalk in this favourite material of the decade.

Blouse

Topshop

Flounces, ruffles and anything remotely Victorian is also in. This blouse has ruffles galore on the collar and a Victorian piping with buttons down the front.

Shoes

Call it spring

Two types of shoe are on trend for spring the flat pointed  brogue and the kitten heel, I love the kitten heel shoe as it can be used universally whether a casual day out or for classy evening attire. Also us tall gals out their don’t feel like we’re towering over everyone else.

Ring

Jon Richard

Final touches to this outfit I added a beautiful red ring classy but casual.

Let me know if you liked the look and what your favourite trend is for spring! Thank you!
