It’s been a bright week and this can only mean one thing. Summer is almost here! It’s the time of year we’ve all been dreaming about. If you’re seeking a cool and casual style for summer, then look no further because there’s one trend that you can wear with anything. Dungarees. Yes, that’s right they’re here to stay for another season. The 90’s trend looks great teamed with a plain white tee underneath, or even a blouse for a more dressed up look. I’ve had a little look to see where you can find the best dungarees for the lowest prices (got to keep an eye on that student budget)!
Firstly I’ve found some full length spotted dungarees from Asos. Their casual and laid back style is great for that lazy summers day look and teamed with a simple white tee and a cute hat, you’ll show your effortless, breezy side. There is also the added bonus that you’re debit card won’t have to make too much effort either! They will only set you back by £8.00! How could you say no?
New Look are great for denim, so if you want a denim pair, then that’s the place to go. If you feel it’s too warm to be in full legged dungarees then there are always short ones like these. A collared blouse would really smarten it up, and paired with some gladiator sandals it’s an overall look that can work for any occasion. These come in at £24.99.
We’re heading back to Asos again for this next pair. These are a more dressed up version of the trend and are very similar to the ones Kylie Jenner sported just a few days ago. The Mocha colour gives an overall more sophisticated vibe and you’d definitely want to put a plain tee under this one instead of a blouse to dress it down a bit. They’d be perfect for an evening summer date! At only £12.00 they’re a staple you can’t bear to be without!
Finally, you may be a bit more girlie and want more of a sweet take on the dungarees. Therefore, a pinafore dress is the way to go. I’ve found one on Boohoo in tartan, which is a bang on trend print. It’s flirty edge would look great when shopping with the girls or even just heading to grab an ice cream. The price? £20.00. And it’s available in two colours so you can choose which one is more you!
So it is possible to plan your summer style without splashing too much cash! Let me know which option you went for!
