Hello again, I am back with another fashion/styling post that might just come in handy for you. Since the weather seems to be having mood swings, I thought I would create a autumn to spring transitional fashion post that combines some of the up and coming trends as well as ones from last year and ones that are just here to stay. BUT, this time, I will be making use of one skirt in all of the outfits. You would be surprised how much you can do with one simple black skater skirt which I think is a must have in any girl’s wardrobe.
Well enough of the chit chat, let’s get down to business (Mulan reference right there).
I call this one
And it is for one of those slightly windier days. I live this look because it can be very business formal but if you remove the bag, it could be a great day to night transitional outfit. The shirt adds some definition to the outfit so it isn’t all black and the gold chain necklace adds some warmth
I call this look
Club Electra Blue
I gave the look this title purely because of the shoes. This look is definitely for the evening in a night club. The infamous strap sandal heels had to be included for a spring bright pop of colour. A clutch is a necessity of any evening out and the gold accents compliment the gold knot chain earrings and to finish the look, a pale blue crop top.
The final look and I like to call this
Keep Calm and Wear A Kimono
I had to. I just had to call it that. Kimonos are very much back in this spring and is a great layering piece for those colder spring days. Floral out with this one in combination with the floral printed socks. The key to this look was to pick out the individual colours in the kimono which included a light pink which is in the crop top, white for the converses to keep it casual and hints of brown within the vines for the satchel bag. And to accessorise, I finished the look off with a gold watch.
So that is it for today guys! I hope you like this post and expect a spring to summer transitional fashion post in the near future. Check out the other posts on my profile to see what fits well with pear and apple shaped ladies.
See you next month with another post! Bye for now J
