What did your family tell you about wrapping up warm back at home?
Because Freshers, Uni life is no different…
Unless you are, of course; clubbing, heading to a house party, on a bar crawl that ends in clubbing, or just generally having a good night out. Which is most nights. Okay, so we’re not the best at layering. And we’re definitely not the best at wearing coats when we probably should.
But unfortunately for students, while good nights out make us fantastically immune to the cold (for about 5 hours) we still end up with the dreaded flu – most commonly known as “Freshers Flu”. Then at some point during the day, you’ll find that the beer jumper wears off – and when it does, everybody needs a cosy coat in their wardrobe.
This April, lightweight anoraks are my top choice for summer/spring. So if you’re struggling to find fashionable and lightweight waterproofs, park yourself down for some light and drizzly reading; on parkas, macs, and anoraks.
While you may need an entire army to pull you out of bed in the morning, lectures will seem far more appealing when you have this cute khaki jacket to keep you snug.
