Summer to Fall Wardrobe Transition; Outfit Idea

Autumn is here and with it comes a chill in temperature, however it would be a shame to put your summer wardrobe away quite yet. Deciding what to wear in between summer and fall can often be awkward so here’s how you can transition your wardrobe from summer to fall/autumn.

In this case, a crop top and high waisted skater skirt were used as the summer foundation. A quilted jacket, suspender tights and a beanie hat were added to transition what would have been an ideal summer outfit into something suitable for autumn. As for footwear, during the summer the combination of skirt and top would’ve worked well with a pair of wedges, but suede Chelsea boots are perfect to keep your feet toasty this autumn.

Our example is a slightly more urban look with a bit of edge but you could use the same foundation and achieve different styles for your summer to fall transition outfits. For example you could also go for a blazer or cardigan instead of a jacket or a beret instead of a beanie hat to achieve something more elegant. All in all a few subtle layers can allow your summer wardrobe items to shine through whilst keeping the autumn chill at bay.
