Season after season monochrome appears on the high street in all shapes and sizes. It never seems to disappear meaning that if you’ve got a little extra money to spend this month it would be completely acceptable to spend that little bit extra on a slightly more expensive piece.
I have searched high and low to find the best pieces and at the lowest prices. The top pieces I have found certainly shocked me, showing that it pays to look in different places for the best bargain pieces.
Firstly we have jumpers to keep you warm through the cold winter months!
This Topshop jumper selling at £32, Topshop is a firm favourite with many of us but the price often puts us off!
This New Look version is almost identical to the Topshop one and only at £19.99! A bargin if you are a student trying to save as much money as possible.
Although this jumper has a different print to the previous two it is still equally to trend and only £15 less than half price of the Topshop one. Surprisingly this is from George at Asda, I find so many on trend pieces in Asda and everyone is always shocked when I tell them where I purchased them!
If you want to clash your monochrome or wear it one print at a time a monochrome skirt will soon become a key piece in your wardrobe. Suitable for day wear or a big night out its variations are endless!
This Topshop skirt selling at £30 is great for a night out or going for drinks, team with a black long sleeved crop top and black courts for a perfect night out outfit.
New Look have bought us this 60s style skirt which would be great for any occasion, especially day wear with big knit tights and a jumper to keep cosy in the frosty weather. At £14.99 it’s hard to say no to especially if your lucky enough to have a student card bring the price down even more! The one issue with this skirt is that it is an online exclusive so you can not see it or try it on instore. However if you order online with Newlook you get free instore delivery!
George at Asda this season are really competing with the top high street stores, this skirt is selling at just £12, At that price you can sacrifice a night out and instead gain a new skirt for the next week! The best bit about this skirt is that is also matches the George at Asda jumper meaning if you buy the two you have got your self an on trend two peice suit for just £27. Perfect with tights for a cute winter look!
I can safely say that more than one of the above items will be making it into my wardrobe over the next couple of weeks. I will also most definitely be keeping my eye out in Asda from now on knowing that less people shop there and it’s so cheap makes it very appealing!
Hope you enjoyed the read!
