Aitor Throup, the highly acclaimed menswear designer based in London has 3 internship opportunities for aspiring fashion students.
This placement will focus on the development of Aitor Throup product line and collaborations. The roll will include sourcing materials and fabrics, pattern cutting and copying of archive patterns along with the research and development of studio samples.
The successful candidate will also be involved in the preparation/installation of presentations for both Aitor Throup product line and collaborations. These will be displayed at Paris fashion week and other major cities.
Candidates must be confident and have a good understanding of pattern cutting. They will need to show an ability to be extremely accurate as the samples they are in involved in are sometimes immensely complex.
Length of placement: 3 months (full time Monday – Friday, 9 a.m – 6 p.m).
Location: Aitor Throup Studio (North London)

Expenses: Travel expenses only (London).
Supervision: This placement will be managed by Chris Taylor (design assistant) and Jake Farey (studio manager).
