Hey loves! I’m back with another review and for today’s review I’ll be talking undies!! Slightly awkward topic but stick with me people, it’s going to be okay.
Today’s review comes from the House of Fraiser lingerie department. They cater to an array of women of all different shapes and sizes as well as a whole variety of needs from small cups to big cups, minimizing bras to enhancing bras, lingerie sets, shaping underwear, knickers, accessories and they even had a mastectomy section for women that may have lost one or both breasts as a result of breast cancer. The entire range is well thought out with great products and so many different price points to suit everyone’s pockets.
So onto the bra itself. I was interested to see if the bra had everything one looks for in a strapless bra; comfort, functionality and sexiness. I don’t know about you but for me it is an absolute pain to find a strapless bra that not only looks good and functions well, but that is also comfortable and one that doesn’t squash your boobs down and make your cleavage non-existent.
So first thing’s first, what did the bra promise? The website stated that this bra had “a built-in hand shaped structures to the cups, lifting and supporting the weight of the bust for an enviable Wonderbra cleavage” and that it had “added silicone strips to the back band giving the bra extra hold, ensuring long lasting, non-slip support.” The item description also included some additional information on the bra describing it as:
plunge bra
wired
foam padding
strapless
moulded
65% polamide, 25% polyester & 10% elastane
This product also had a great size range from an A cup to a G cup which caters to different cup sizes and also came in a number of styles and colours to suit different tastes.
So enough about what House of Fraiser think about this product, what did I think about it? On receiving it the first thing that caught my eye was the appearance, it was just as seen on the website, very well made with the lace detail which gave it a sexy feel. On looking inside the cup I could see the built-in hand shaped structures that were intended to lift and support the weight of the bust to create great cleavage. So it looked good, but did it do the job?I must admit that looking at the bra I was a bit skeptical about whether it would be comfortable and whether it would in fact support my bust as I am quite big busted but after taking the bra out for a couple of spins, one being just a normal day and the second being a night out, I can honestly say that it did what was promised, not only did my cleavage look good (I mean everyone likes great looking cleavage) but it supported my bust and stayed put all day and night and didn’t even budge when I was cutting shapes on the dance floor.
There was no awkward tugging of the bra to get it back up to where it’s supposed to be and there were no pop-outs or slips and it was also extremely comfortable. I also loved that the strap at the back was a bit lower than normal which allowed me to wear low back items with it without worrying about my bra showing. My only qualm with this bra is that it comes up quite high under the armpit and would definitely show if i was wearing something quite low under the armpits or a top with wide sleeve-holes but that,s really me being a bit nit-picky. All in all I thought this product was great and it delivered on all the things I was looking for; functionality, comfort and sexiness. I would recommend buying this product which is also available in ivory with the lace detailing and in ivory, nude and black without the lace detail. It is a bit pricey at £36 but it’s totally worth it and if this price point is too steep then you needn’t worry because House of Fraiser has many great alternatives for much cheaper. I definitely urge all my ladies out there to go and have a look at House of Fraser’s great lingerie range, I promise you won’t be disappointed, I definitely wasn’t.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and found it helpful and thank you so much to House of Fraser for providing me with a great product to review and for giving Student Fashion the wonderful opportunity to work with them. Come back soon loves!
