To celebrate the finale of their 10th birthday anniversary, the Bullring, Birmingham, put together an amazing fashion show, showcasing the AW13 collections of the shops located in the shopping centre and they didn’t disappoint.
Hosted by Mollie King from The Saturdays, the show focused on this year’s main trends in the form of ten different scenes: The Red Zone, Off To the Country, Urban, Pastel Punch, Hi & Mighty, Tartan Twist, Curves & Coats, Grandma’s Attic, Animal Instinct and Shine.
Mollie King was the host of the fashion show. She wore a cream arran stitch jumper and a dark green tartan pleat skirt from H by Henry Holland which you can find in Debenhams.
What was amazing about the show was that all of the items showcased were already available in the stores for purchase. My favourite outfit was the fine checked suit from Reiss, which was paired with a gorgeous grey wool coat, pointed court shoes and a black felt trilby.
To top it all off, Mollie was then joined onstage by her Saturdays band-mates at the 7pm show for a very special performance. It was quiet sad that Frankie wasn’t able to attend (due to her pregnancy), but at least we got to hear their new single “Disco Love” which comes out on the 6th of October.
Even though the end of the show meant the anniversary celebrations were over, don’t forget that next week Thursday (3rd October) is the Student Discount Event in which your favourite shops and restaurants at Bullring will come together to bring you double discounts, goodie bags, free gifts, complimentary refreshments and much more.
You will also enjoy from live DJ sets from The Rainbow Venues on the night and as well as gaining you access to all the discounts, this year your hand stamp (which you’ll receive at the event) will also get you free entry to the after party* at The Rainbow Venues in Digbeth.
