I know we are students, but please don’t buy the cheap stuff if you would like to avoid a life time of ‘foot deformities, backache and pain’ as the Daily Mail recently reported.

Cheap versions of Ugg boots are far less likely to have foot support and within 6 months will have you doing the Ugg shuffle (basically walking like a pigeon) – not sexy at all!

Good Ugg boots will set you back around £100 but at least they will have good insoles and reinforced heels which lessen the chances of damage. So don’t be cheap, be safe!

Completely agree, investing in the real Uggs are totally worth it, the comfort is worth the £100 or so pounds you pay. In fact you can always tell when someone has the fake ones they end up walking “bent” foot, and they usually last a maximum of 2 weeks in this British weather, as they absorb water due to the cheap soles…

Ive always wondered what that “bent” foot pigeon walk was about, but now I know!

Also, I guess the cheap stuff is okay indoors, but outdoors like you said, Zainy, they don’t last at all.

  3. Totally agree with the whole blog, the serious knock off Ugg boots are not even Uggs. Although im a guy, having had the opportunity to feel the insides of both a knock off and an ugg, the difference is astonishing. Uggs are so much more soft and simply resonate quality. This blog Rocks!

I agree, but I don’t find the cheap shoes be the problem, since I have seen many girls wearing the real UGG boots and walking strangely. For such people it is irrelevant if it’s expensive or not, they are just not able to walk properly in anything at all. I don’t want to offend anyone, but honestly, I speak from my own experience of what I’ve seen so far.
